The goal I have in mind while packing our bags is to bring the minimum necessary, but also bring enough that I feel comfortable while I’m in the hospital. I’m a first time mom so I really don’t know what to expect. I read a ton of blogs and watched a lot of IG stories from other bloggers/influencers on what they brought and what they found helpful. I definitely recommend doing this because it gave me a lot of ideas on what I think I’ll need/want.sa My main goal is just to be as comfortable as possible. Here is what I’m packing: (After I have the baby, I’ll give an update on things I used/didn’t use, wish I would have brought, could have left home, etc.)
Comfy Clothes – I’m bringing leggings and 2 comfy t shirts to wear in the hospital & coming home. I also brought a comfy t shirt dress in case I don’t want to wear pants.
Pajamas – I’m bringing 2 pairs of pajamas (one shorts and one pants).
Bra – If you are breastfeeding, make sure you bring a nursing bra.
Socks & Slippers
Sweatshirt – A lot of people recommended bringing a robe, but I am just going to bring a comfy sweatshirt.
Post Partum – I’m only bringing a few diapers and my own peri bottle. Pretty much everyone says to bring your own peri bottle because its better than the hospital one. There are a lot of different recommendations on things to bring, but I personally plan on using what the hospital provides then figuring out what is best for me at home.
Toiletries – travel size shampoo and conditioner, dry shampoo, makeup wipes, chapstick, hair ties, hair clip, hair brush, lotion, deodorant, tooth brush, make up
Night Light – Tons and tons of recommendations for this. Everyone says its great for when nurses come in throughout the night or anything throughout the night really so that you don’t have to turn on the main light and wake the baby. I got this one from Amazon (shop HERE).
3 comfy outfits
Long phone charger
Toiletries – tooth brush, glasses, hair gel, deodorant, shampoo

Thats it! I hope it was helpful. I added checklists below for you to screenshot to help with packing your bag.
If you’ve had a baby before, let me know in the comments if there is anything I’m missing.
