You’ve probably seen ads for SheIn on your Facebook page or seen people post about it on Instagram. If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably thought it was too good to be true. How can a website sale such adorable clothing for crazy cheap prices? After seeing bloggers post about their finds on SheIn, I decided to give it a try for myself. I placed a large order (mostly consisting of business wear), and thought I would share my personal thoughts for anyone else who is skeptical like I was.
One of the many cons of ordering from SheIn that I had heard was ship time. I have always heard shipping takes 2-3 weeks, however, I received my items in one week. I had fully expected to wait about a month, but was pleasantly surprised. After looking into things more, it seems they have opened a warehouse in the US which means quicker ship times (yay)! Now don’t quote me on this, but this is just what I’ve heard through the grapevine. Ha.
The next concern I’ve heard is quality. Since the clothes are so cheap then the quality must be terrible. You seriously can’t beat the prices. I would describe the clothing quality as equal to Forever 21 quality. Its obviously not designer quality but it is still good pieces, and especially for the price. So if you shop at F21, I really think you will love this website.
SheIn can definitely be overwhelming. They have a bazillion items…like a bazillion. You kind of have to have an idea of what you’re looking for before you start shopping or you will easily be overwhelmed. When I first starting looking at the site, that is exactly what happened to me. I can’t tell you how many times I ended up closing the site and buying nothing because I just couldn’t decide what I really wanted. This time I knew I needed some staple professional pieces so it was much easier for me to decide what I wanted to purchase. I could easily spend hours and hours on the website and still not see everything they have to offer.
You definitely want to read the reviews. Each item has a place where real women leave real reviews with pictures. It is super helpful. You can see what people really think and you are able to see the item on different body types. I honestly wish every website had this feature. From my personal experience, most of their items run a tad small so I would recommend sizing up one size if you aren’t sure which way to go. I typically where a size small and I ordered a size medium in every item I purchased. All of the items (except 1) fit perfectly and I definitely couldn’t have worn a small.
When you purchase from SheIn, you receive points that can then be used for later purchases, just like any other reward system with other companies. A bonus tip is once you receive your items, write a review. Not only will you be helping other women when they want to purchase the same item, but you also receive extra reward points for writing a review.
Overall, I definitely recommend ordering from SheIn and giving them a chance. I don’t have any complaints so far with my experience. In my last order, I ordered 12 items, paid less than $100, received my items in one week, and loved every item except for two pieces. The two pieces I didn’t like were only because I didn’t like the way they looked on myself which can happen with any company.
I hope you found this post helpful and give them a try. This is NOT a sponsored post in any way, these are just my personal opinions and experiences. If you give them a try, let me know! I would love to hear what you thought of your experience.
