Bring your basic v-neck tee to work with you. Dress up a v-neck by knotting it over a cute sundress. I’m always looking for new ways to wear old things & I love how this turned out. This look is super flattering & fun. Knot it high to give yourself a slim waist!
*This exact dress is sold out but the same style is available in other colors & I’ll link it HERE.
Now, onto the books! I’m telling you about the 3 most recent books I’ve read & my personal thoughts on each.
1. The Husband’s Secret – Liane Moriarty
Wow, wow, wow! This one will blow your socks off (if you read in socks). Talk about twists & turns. This is one of the best (if not the best) books I’ve ever read. I don’t want to give anything away, but it’s a must read. The story revolves around 3 separate women’s lives, but you’ll have to read to find out how they’re all connected. Obviously there’s a husband’s secret tossed in there too 😉 There is an extra little read at the end of the book and I almost missed it. DON’T MISS IT!
2. The Lying Game – Ruth Ware
So have you ever seen The Lying Game show that was on Freeform? Well, the show got cancelled, and when I saw this book, I thought that it was the same story. Its not. Haha. But, it is still a good book! The book is about four girls who played the lying game, but took it a little too far. The book flashes back and forth between their present lives at 30ish and their teenage lives. It will definitely keep you guessing on what really happened. You know something bad happened when they were teenagers, but you just don’t know exactly what it was. The last few chapters of this book are intense and I couldn’t put it down!
3. Little Broken Things – Nicole Baart
Another great read. The only negative I have about this one is that it is kind of predictable. I pretty much figured out the “big twist” very early on, however it’s still a great book. It will still keep you on edge to see how everything turns out.
